Students in Pasar Manggis Area Enjoy JakWiFi Facilities

The internet speed is fast thus I can do assignments quickly

The RW 03 Secretariat Room, Pasar Manggis Urban Village, Setiabudi, South Jakarta has since recently changed to be like a classroom in a school.

Some children in elementary school uniforms complete with textbooks and writing tools looked serious about taking part in the distance learning process by online, Wednesday (9/2) morning.

Fast JakWIFI Internet Access, Student Learning Becomes Comfortable

They are very happy to enjoy a free WiFi program, dubbed JakWiFi, to facilitate online learning at the RW secretariat office.

As stated by Rizky Kurniawan Putra, a sixth grade student of SDN 01 Pagi, Pasar Manggis. This 12-year-old kid who is already an orphan admits that he is happy to study online without having to burden his mother to buy internet quotas.

"I don't have a father. So far, I have difficulty doing my assignments from school as sometimes my mother doesn't have money to buy data packages," he expressed.

With the JakWiFi program, he now has no more difficulties in following the distance learning process. With some of their friends, they can study in the RW secretariat room from 7 AM to 11 AM every day.

"The internet speed is fast thus I can do assignments quickly," he admitted, while gripping his mother's hand tightly.

RT 13/03 Chairman, Pasar Manggis Urban Village Yulizar expressed every day there were 10 students enjoying the internet at the RW secretariat that opens at 7 AM to 4 PM.

He explained, in the room, his party had also provided study benches and chairs at a distance according to health protocols. In addition, locals who come were required to wear a mask and wash their hands in the space provided.

"We remain apply health protocols for residents and children who want to access internet here," he stated.
