Fast JakWIFI Internet Access, Student Learning Becomes Comfortable

Alhamdulillah the internet speed is very fast and we are so excited

JakWiFi internet data speed which is capable and stable is very beneficial for the community, especially school students. They do not feel any signal interference on their cellphone network.

As stated by Nurul Ainun (14), an eighth grader student of SMPN 2 Jakarta along with her sister Rizky, a fifth grade student of SDN 02 Tanah Tinggi, Central Jakarta. She expressed, they immediately tried to access the internet at the secretariat office of RW 01 Galur Urban Village, Senen since the government launched JakWiFi.

"Alhamdulillah the internet speed is very fast and we are so excited," she stated, Wednesday (9/2).

She stated she no longer burdened his parents to buy more quotas.

"Previously we could spend Rp 50,000 in a week to buy internet quota. But now, JakWiFi is very helpful," she admitted.

Similar statement also came out from Ezra Letizia Sipayung, an eleventh grade student of SMK PGRI 4 Jakarta who used JakWiFi at the same location.

"The internet here is very fast compared to buying my own quota. Learning is also comfortable and it helps make parents easier in buying internet quota," he told.

Central Jakarta Communication, Information and Statistic Sub-agency Head Lestari Ady Wiryono explained that the speed of data installed at each point was conditioned to accommodate people's internet needs.

"Each point has a speed of 50 Mbps," he stated.

As for the information, for the secretariat office RW 01 and 02 Galur Urban Village, every student who will use the free internet is required to wear school uniforms and bring their own stationery, books and cellphones.

They are also checked for temperature, must wash their hands and wear a mask. In order not to crowd, two shift are made, namely 7 AM to 10 AM and 10 AM to 1 PM.
