Commemorating the Regency's 19th Anniversary, Thousand Islands will hold Pencak Silat (Martial Arts) Festival on 9 November, 2020.
Training will be started next week
The colossal martial arts performance will be held through collaboration between Thousand Islands UKT 1, Education Sub-agency, Parekraf Sub-agency, and Sinar Warna Nusantara Foundation.
Thousand Islands UKT 1 Head, Ade Slamet mentioned, Sinar Warna Nusantara Foundation will send trainers to every martial arts communities in every urban villages.
Thousand Islands Gears Up to Animate Martial Arts"Training will be started next week," he conveyed after conducting virtual coordination meeting at Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, Wednesday (9/2).
Within a month or so, he expected each urban will have a team that will perform at the end of October.
"Hopefully we can hold a colossal martial arts performance from 6 urban villages to enliven the Regency's 9th Anniversary," he said.
