JakWiFi in Kapuk Urban Village Makes Students Happy

It's cool that I don't need to buy internet quota anymore as I can access free internet to study online

A feeling of happiness and a smile of happiness radiated on the face of an elementary student, Anggita (13) when she entered the courtyard of the Kapuk Urban Village office, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The student of SDN Kapuk 16 Pagi, Cengkareng is now able to access the free WiFi program, dubbed JakWiFi easily at the village office, which is not far from her house.

"It's cool that I don't need to buy internet quota anymore as I can access free internet to study online," she expressed, Friday (9/4).

She told that she usually spent Rp 10,000 to buy internet quota when learning activities were about to start. Yet when her quota ran out, she sometimes hitched a ride to her friend's house that had wifi.

"But now everything is under control. I have been able to study in the urban village office hall using JakWiFi," she told.

Similar statement also came out from Ariska (14), a student of SMP Cengkareng 1. She admitted, it was very helpful her to study and do school assignments.

"Hopefully the internet network can be expanded again thus other friends can feel the same way," she stated.

In the meantime, Kapuk Urban Village Head Ujang Sungkawa expressed the place that could accommodate 10-15 students was deliberately prepared by his party thus students could study comfortably using the internet.

"We have officers always on standby to remind internet users about 3M protocols (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (keeping a distance)," he stated.
