Joint Personnel Monitor PSBB Implementation in Four Markets in Kemayoran

Joint personnel in Kemayoran Sub-district monitored the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation in four traditional markets on this Tuesday (9/15).

This monitoring is carried out from 8 AM to 11 AM by deploying tens joint personnel from city and sub-district levels

Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara conveyed, joint personnel consisted of 60 Satpol PP personnel from city and sub-district levels, and 20 personnel from Dishub and civil apparatuses (ASN). They were deployed to Serdang Market, Sumur Batu Market, Nangka Market, and Gardu Asem Market.

"This monitoring is carried out from 8 AM to 11 AM by deploying tens joint personnel from city and sub-district levels to monitor PSBB implementation in markets," he explained.

Kemayoran Sub-district Head, Asep Mulyaman stated, in this operation, his side netted total 84 violators; 38 violators from Serdang Market, 18 violators from Sumur Batu Market, 15 violators from Nangka Market, and 13 violators from Gardu Asem Market.

"Around 4 of them choose to pay administrative fine Rp 250,000 per person while the others choose social sanction," he mentioned.

For social sanction, violators were instructed to clean facilities and infrastructure around the location or paint the curb stones for 60 minutes in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 88/2020 on the amendments to Gubernatorial Regulation No. 33/2020 concerning the Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions in Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Jakarta Province.

"When our personnel check the data, about 7 violators have violated more than once, so we multiplied their sentences according to Gubernatorial Regulation. Most of them were stubborn because not wearing mask during the pandemic," he said.
