Two Channels in Sukapura Cleaned

Let's start to get used to disposing of garbage in its place to maintain the function of the channel

A number of Sukapura Urban Village PPSU members, Cilincing, North Jakarta began to clean up the water channel in RW 08 and 10, which aim to anticipate inundation and flooding during rainy season.

"It rained last night. So we try to monitor the channel in the morning. As a result, lots of channels clogged with garbage," expressed Sukapura Urban Village Head, Abdul Rahman, Tuesday (9/22).

He expressed cleaning of these two channels included removing mud and draining waterways. We also cleaned up garbage and weeds.

"Let's start to get used to disposing of garbage in its place to maintain the function of the channel," he stated.
