BPBD Builds Two Evacuation Posts in South Jakarta

Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) informed, there were 56 RTs in 3 municipalities of Jakarta which inundated by water around 10-150 centimeters by this morning. Related to this, BPBD has built 2 evacuation posts.

Until now, only 2 evacuation posts were built at Al-Ma'muriah Musala in Cilandak Timur Urban Village and Al Ma'mur Mosque at Pejaten Timur Urban Village

Jakarta BPBD Acting Head, Sabdo Kurnianto stated, those RTs were inundated due to high rain intensity since Sunday (10/4). As many as 23 of 56 RTs affected by flood, are located in South Jakarta, while 31 RTs are located in East Jakarta and 2 RTs in West Jakarta.

"Based on updated information at 6 AM, there are around 56 RTs flooded. Until now, only 2 evacuation posts were built at Al-Ma'muriah Musala in Cilandak Timur Urban Village and Al Ma'mur Mosque at Pejaten Timur Urban Village with total 257 evacuees," he informed, Monday (10/5).

Tomorrow, Flood Post in Central Jakarta Operated

Furthermore, 10 roads in 2 Jakarta regions were inundated by water about 10-50 centimeters. In detail, 9 roads are located in South Jakarta and 1 road in West Jakarta.

South Jakarta

1. Jalan Nipah Gg 11 No.17, Petogogan Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

2. Jalan Bangka Buntu II Gg. Amal III No.12, Pela Mampang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district.

3. Jalan Kirai Rt 3/1 no. 12, Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

4. Jalan Komp. Loka Permai No.14-16, Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district.

5. Jalan Nusa Indah I No.93-L, Jagakarsa Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district.

6. Jalan Bank III No.3, Pela Mampang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district.

7. Jalan Pangeran Antasari Gg. Koba, Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

8. Jalan Ophir 1 Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

9. Jalan Wijaya Timur Dalam 1, Petogogan Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

West Jakarta

1. Jl. Muhajar, Sukabumi Selatan Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district.

"We advise road users to avoid those roads temporarily because it is still inundated and please be careful," he conveyed.
