Tomorrow, Flood Post in Central Jakarta Operated

The post is inside and closed while officers are diverted to the front

The Central Jakarta administration is set to operate the Flood Post, which is located at the mayor's office. It will start operating on Thursday (10/1) tomorrow.

Central Jakarta Mayor Bayu Meghantara said its operational would remain hold up the health protocol. Officers would be assigned to monitor in front of the post room in order to keep getting good air circulation.

"The post is inside and closed while officers are diverted to the front," he expressed, when he monitored the readiness of the flood post, Wednesday (9/30).

His party had evaluated several flood-prone spots in Central Jakarta, including Petamburan, Gunung Sahari Utara, etc.

"We're still evaluating and anticipating flood-prone spots," he said.

He uttered the administration had increased the readiness of the post for shelter and assistance for residents.

"Tagana and Social Sub-agency are ready to anticipate evacuation," he stated.
