Most South Jakarta residents who were evacuated due to flood have returned to their homes. Hundreds cloth masks were distributed to the evacuees to prevent Covid-19 transmission.

Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Center for Disaster Data and Information (Pusdatin) Head, Mohammad Insaf conveyed, 2 evacuation posts were provided at Al-Ma'muriah Musala, Cilandak Timur Urban Village and Al Ma'mur Mosque, Pejaten Timur Urban Village.
"Updated information at 12 PM, from total 257 evacuees, now only 29 people are left. While there is an increased in number of RTs which inundated, from 56 RTs to 69 RTs," he informed, Monday (10/5).
BPBD Builds Two Evacuation Posts in South JakartaThe additional inundated RTs are located in East Jakarta, from 31 RTs to 51 RTs. While in South Jakarta, it decreased from 23 RTs to 16 RTs. In West Jakarta, there are still 2 RTs inundated.
"While there are 4 inundated roads until 12 PM. Inundation in other roads has inundated and it can be passed by road users," he mentioned.
Roads that are still inundated are Jalan Kirai RT 3/1 No. 12, Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru; Jalan Komp. Loka Permai No. 14-16, Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama; Jalan Pangeran Antasari Gg. Koba, Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru; and Jalan Ophir 1 Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru.
"We distribute 300 masks for evacuees to prevent Covid-19 transmission at the shelter," he asserted.
