Water started hitting the residential area at around 2 AM
Floodwaters have started to recede after inundating five RTs in RW 03 and 07, Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran, South Jakarta on Sunday (10/4) until Monday (10/5) at dawn.
Rawajati Urban Village Head Budi Rudijanto said floodwaters were above 10-40 cm height. It caused by the overflowing waters of Ciliwung River and heavy rain.
BMKG: La Nina to Bring Heavy Rainfall until April 2021"Water started hitting the residential area at around 2 AM. As the water volume of Ciliwung River decreased at 8:30 AM, the water level began to recede," he expressed, Monday (10/5).
He added that no residents were displaced due to this disaster.
"Certainly we can say it has receded completely," he stated.
