Alternative Roads in Cipinang Melayu Need Repair

Jalan Al Muqorobin and Jalan Sulaiman in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, East Jakarta are badly damaged over a year. The citizen wish the related agency repair the two vital road soon.

The roads are an alternative road that used by the motorcycle rider that stuck in traffic jam when through Jalan Inspeksi Kalimalang every morning. With the potholes on the road, absolutely makes the rider to ride very carefully to prevent fall from the motorcycle.

RW 03 Cipinang Melayu chief, Muchtar Usman explained, the length of the damage road is around 183 meter with 3 meter in width. Meanwhile, the average of the pothole depth is around 10-15 centimeter.

Rearrangement for Transjakarta Corridor I Route Applied

"There was repaired two years ago, but it damaged again. We hope it will be repaired soon," said Muchtar, Wednesday (10/22).

Contacted separately, Head of Road Maintenance for East Jakarta Public Works Sub-department, Arief Faizal said, the two roads will be repaired soon using the budget from APBD 2014. According to him, now the project is in process at Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Unit (ULP).

"The length of Jalan Al Muqorobin is 183 meter, Jalan Sulaiman is 213 meter and Jalan Masjid is 180 meter. All of them is located in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, we programmed to apply concrete method," said Arief.
