Traffic Lights Repair in 15 Locations Completed

Damaged traffic lights in 15 points on Jalan MH. Thamrin, Jalan Medan Merdeka, Jalan Kebun Sirih, Jalan Cideng Barat, Senen, Jalan Agus Salim, Jalan Suryopranoto, Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim, Jalan Abdul Muis, have been repaired and now it can be functioned well.

We repair it as soon as possible to prevent gridlock in intersections

Jakarta Transportation Agency's Traffic Control System Management Unit (UP SPLL) Operational Head, Hendry Sampurna stated, total 98 traffic lights that were heavily damaged. Most of the damage was on the LED part.

"Saturday at 2 PM, we made sure all traffic lights in those 15 points were functioned well. We replace those 98 LED modules," he added, Monday (10/12).

His side accelerated traffic lighting repair to prevent severe traffic congestion in intersections due to malfunctioning traffic lights and services to public.

"We repair it as soon as possible to prevent gridlock in intersections," he said.

For information, Jakarta Transportation Agency has previously reported number of traffic lights that were heavily damaged and unable to operate due to demonstration on Thursday (10/8).
