Dishub Tests Jaketbus Application at Pulo Gebang Terminal

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) tested Jakarta Electronic Ticketing System Bus (Jaketbus) at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, East Jakarta.

This application makes it easier for residents to get information on bus departure schedules

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo stated, Jaketbus is an online application for ordering AKAP bus tickets at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal. Jaketbus application can help travelers to get actual information regarding bus schedule and ticket price.

"This application makes it easier for residents to get information on bus departure schedules," he conveyed, Monday (10/12).

Entering Transitional PSBB, Here are Transjakarta Adjustments Starting October 12

According to him, this application will use cashless system, where all the transactions are carried out using e-cash.

When this app is accessible to public, people can also top up their e-wallet via Jaketbus app through bank transfer payments or other merchants.

"Everyone who access this application will be registered automatically. Ticket can be paid through Alfamart and Indomaret," he added.

One of the factors that caused decline in the market share of AKAP transportation is due to lack of transparency in ticket buying and selling. His side planned to make this app accessible by public starting December 10, 2020.

"On October 28, 2020, we will hold soft launching of Jakbus application. All ticket sales at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal will be not carried out manually in the future," he closed.
