Central Jakarta Receives Land for Social and Public Facilities Purpose

Central Jakarta Government received 6,613 square meters land from one of apartment developers for social and public facilities, on Thursday (10/15).

According to plan, this asset will be used to build road

Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara conveyed, handover of land for social and public facilities is one of developer's obligations to Jakarta Government because the developer has obtained Land Use Permit Appointment (SIPPT).

"Mayor has a mandate to collect receivables from developers in form of social and public facilities and we record it in Handover Report (BAST)," he said after symbolically receiving the land which handed over for social and public facilities purpose.

City Expected to Be Optimal in Urging Developers to Submit Public Facilities

He mentioned, land that was handed over valued of Rp 457.1 billion and located on Jalan KH. Mas Mansyur, Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang Sub-district.

"According to plan, this asset will be used to build road," he added.

Furthermore, his side also asked Central Jakarta Regional Development Control and Supervisory Team (TP3W) to install signboard on that land.

"TP3W will install the signboard to inform people that the land is owned by Jakarta Government," he stated.
