Satpol PP Forms Motoris Prada Patrolling Team

Jakarta Satpol PP formed Two-Wheeled Regional Regulation Enforcement Team (Motoris Prada). This team will patrol along Sudirman-Thamrin area and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan every day.

Satpol PP Operational Section Head, Fitrano Jaya Putra Askari mentioned, Motoris Prada team is formed to carry out patrol in anticipating violations on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 8/2007 concerning Public Orders.

"We want to maintain peace and public order. We will warn people who violate the regulations in a proper way. But if they repeat their mistakes, we will take action," he said, Wednesday (10/21).

Motoris Prada Team also targeted a group of people who gathered in one place and not obeyed Covid-19 prevention health protocols because the pandemic hadn't over yet.

"We also remind people who ignore to obey health protocols. When we found a crowd, we will disperse it. We will also remind people to always wear mask," he asserted.

This team consisted of 34 officers, 25 male and 9 female officers and equipped with 22 motorcycles.

Motoris Prada Team divided into 2 teams, on duty and stand-by teams. Those in on duty team will patrol along Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the stand-by team will patrol at 08:00-16:00 in several locations such as Tugu Tani, Jalan Cikini, Jalan Diponegoro, Suropati Park, and Bundaran HI.

"Motoris Prada Team puts forward a humanistic attitude in enforcing local regulations and implementing health protocols," he stated.
