Today, waste bank in Pisangan Timur Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta sold 500 kilograms of recycled waste.

It was collected by PPSU personnel in urban village for about two weeks.
Pisangan Timur Urban Village Secretary, Dwi Widiastuti stated, 71 PPSU personnel in 14 RWs were deployed to clean up collector roads and protocol roads every day. While cleaning the roads, they sorted between organic and non-organic or recyclable waste.

"They earn Rp 1,440,000 from selling 500 kilograms of recycled waste," she said, Thursday (10/22).
According to her, money they earned from selling the waste was put into PPSU's savings. The current balance of PPSU's saving from selling waste reached Rp 12 million.
"This saving is usually used for social activities, such as when visiting their friends who are sick, donations for orphans, traveling, and so on," she explained.
