During long holiday from October 28 until November 1, Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency recorded as many as 9,236 tourists visiting Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti informed, there were 1,066 tourists on October 28; 2,961 tourists on October 29; 1,181 tourists on October 30; 2,737 tourists on October 31; and 1,291 tourists on November 1.
"Tourists go on vacation to residential islands and resort islands," she added, Monday (11/2).
Thousand Islands Parekraf Tightens Health Protocols MonitoringDuring health protocols monitoring on long holiday, her side assessed, tourist awareness to adhere to health protocols is quite high.
"Broadly speaking, all have used masks. We only found some tourists who don't wear mask properly," she mentioned.
She appreciated all sides who have participated in monitoring health protocols in order to realize healthy tourism which free from COVID-19.
"If everyone comply with health protocols, then tourism sector can continue to operate as well as economy sector," she asserted.
