Health Agency Builds Collaboration to Create Controlled Isolation Monitoring Application for COVID-19 Patients

Jakarta Health Agency is working with several companies to create mobile application related to Controlled Isolation Monitoring for COVID-19 Patient in Jakarta.

It is also equipped with geo tagging menu thus our officers can know the patient's location

Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti stated, this application is intended for patients who need to undergo controlled isolation, including patients with criteria of close contact, suspect, and probable cases. Those criterias are in accordance with the 5th Revised Guidelines for Handling and Controlling COVID-19.

This app's purpose is to ensure patients who carry out controlled isolation in Jakarta, both in facilities that have been provided by government and others, to have their health conditions monitored and undergo their isolation well. For information, this application can be downloaded on Android or iOS.

This app featured patient's daily reports, chat menu to facilitate patients to chat with health officers in local Puskesmas.

"It is also equipped with geo tagging menu thus our officers can know the patient's location," she added, Tuesday (12/3).

This app, she explained, also facilitates officers to record data or report any cases concerning COVID-19 controlled isolation cases. Thus they don't need to make another record and recap reports manually. Data can be also reported directly to Health Sub-agencies and Health Agency.

"Jakarta Health Agency expects this application can give benefits for Jakarta residents, especially as a strategic measure in suppressing COVID-19 transmission in Jakarta," she asserted.
