Damaged Sheet Pile on Jalan Bungur Being Repaired

It is targeted to be complete by the end of this year

The Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing the damaged sheet pile and dredging up mud in the connecting channels alongside Jalan Bungur Besar Vi and IV until Jalan Letjen Suprapto.

"It is conducted in two stages," expressed Senen Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, M Rohman, Wednesday (11/4).

Collapsed Sheet Pile on Uangan River Repaired

The first phase was started at the end of June and was completed in mid-September. It was done up to 240 meters length from Jalan Bungur Besar VI until IV with 080 meters height and 0,60 meters width.

"Aside that, we have managed to dredged up mud as high as 50 centimeters," he expressed.

The second phase, his party once again continued to repair the sheet pile from Jalan Bungur Besar IV until Jalan Letjen Suprapto that had been started since November 2.

"The channel length is around 260 meters with 3.8 meters width and 1.4 meters height. In total, the sheet piles on both sides of the channel have 560 meters height," he expressed.

He furthered mud as thick as 60 centimeters in the channel along Jalan Bungur Besar IV until Letjen Suprapto would also be dredged.

"It is targeted to be complete by the end of this year," he said.
