The male and female runners from Kenya mop-up the 2014 Jakarta Marathon, Sunday (10/26). They won the full and half marathon.

The first male runner from half marathon is Joseph Nwangi Ngare with 1 hour 12 second in time

" The first male runner from half marathon is Joseph Nwangi Ngare with 1 hour 12 second in time ," said Ratiyono, Jakarta Head Dept. of Sport and Youth, Sunday (10/26).

Second place is Silas Mututi Gmchori and third place is Collins Kipkorin.

Meanwhile, the female runner in half marathon won by Peninan Kigen by 1 hour 14 minutes 20 seconds. Second place is Edinan Koech by 1 hour 18 minutes, and third place is Jacline Taziro by 1 hour 31 minutes 20 second.

The full marathon category won by Julius Seurei for men group by 2 hours 14 minutes 51 second.

"Second place is Kennedy Liken Kipro by 2 hours 16 minutes 47 second, third place is Yusuf Sowgoka by 2 hours 23 minutes 10 second," Ratiyono added.

The first winner for women full marathon is also from Kenya, Nyansikera Winfridah by 2 hours 40 minutes 25 seconds, followed by Mercy Jemutai by 2 hours 43 minutes 17 seconds and Elizabeth Jenuyut Chemweko by 2 hours 43 minutes 44 seconds.

The Jakarta Cultural Festival Marathon 2014 is an annual event held by Inspiro together with Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Jakarta Provincial Government.

The event is enlivened with Betawi culture festival, Archipelago festival parade, and culinary party. There was also 20 stages of entertainment at 20 points of the route.
