The North Jakarta administration, formed anti-drug volunteers consisting of 24 participants representing 12 stakeholders in North Jakarta.
North Jakarta Deputy Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim said action to prevent and abuse drugs should be carried out in a sustainable manner with all parties.

He expressed drugs existed before COVID-19 and could affect all levels. The impact was no less dangerous than the spread of COVID-19.
By doing so, it was expected to build togetherness in tackling the spread of drugs in a comprehensive manner. That was through collaboration between government, society, private sector and academia.
"They (volunteers) must really know the characteristics and signs, as well as know what and how drugs are in order to know who our enemy is," he asserted.
In the meantime, North Jakarta National Narcotics Agency (BNN)'s Prevention and Empowerment Division Head Indira Maharani S added the goal of forming this team was to work together and participate in maintaining a clean environment from narcotics. They were expected to be able to actively fight against drugs where they work.
"They will act as initiators who design and mobilize the community. In addition, they will also act as facilitators who will bridge the BNN with stakeholders," he stated.
