Tidal Flood Causes Inundation in 3 RTs and Road in Jakarta

Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported there were 3 RTs and inundated road in West Jakarta and Central Jakarta by this Tuesday (11/16) afternoon due to tidal flood.

There are 3 inundated RTs in West Jakarta with height about 30-60 centimeters due to tidal flood

Jakarta BPBD Disaster Data Center and Information (Pusdatin) Head, Mohammad Insaf conveyed, based on data he collected at 1 PM , there were 3 inundated RTs in Tegal Alur Village, West Jakarta. Inundation water level is about 30-60 centimeters.

"There are 3 inundated RTs in West Jakarta with height about 30-60 centimeters due to tidal flood," he said.

Meanwhile, the flooded road is located in North Jakarta, on Jalan Muara Baru Raya, Penjaringan Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district with water level about 40-60 centimeters.

"Therefore we ask road users to be more careful when crossing the road," he stated.
