Thousand Islands UKT 2 Repairs and Replaces PJU Lamps in 179 Points

Thousand Islands Technical Work Unit (UKT) 2 continues to do maintenance and repair street lighting (PJU) to make sure it is functioning properly.

Residents can report any damaged PJU units or lamps that need to be replaced to us

Thousand Islands UKT 2 Leader, Sofyan mentioned, from January 1 to November 18, his side has replaced PJU lamps in 179 points, repaired PJU in 32 points, and replaced PJU lamp ornament handlebar in 20 points.

"The locations spread across 11 residential islands. Lighting is very important to bring sense of security and comfort for local residents and tourists," he said, Thursday (11/19).

In detail, his side has replaced PJU lamps in 13 points in Lancang Island, 21 points in Untung Jawa Island, 42 points in Tidung Island, 73 points in Pari Island, 4 points in Payung Island, 16 points in Pramuka Island, 2 points in Panggang Island, 2 points in Kelapa Island, 1 point in Kelapa Dua Island, and 5 points in Harapan Island.

"We repair damaged and nearly collapsed street lighting poles in 30 points in Lancang Island and 2 points in Payung Island," he added.

According to him, his side also replaced damaged PJU ornament handlebar in 20 points in Tidung Island.

"Residents can report any damaged PJU units or lamps that need to be replaced to us. We will ensure our personnel to repair it immediately," he conveyed.
