During Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) visitors are encouraged to comply with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission. 

They must wear mask, wash hands with soap and running water, and maintain distance or avoid the crowd

Central Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency's People Empowerment Section Head, Bangun Manalu stated, 50 RPTRAs in 8 sub-districts throughout Central Jakarta have been opened to public on a limited basis.

"RPTRA facilities that can be used by residents during Transitional PSBB in Jakarta are jogging track and reflection park. Meanwhile, hall, library, children's playground are still closed," he mentioned, Tuesday (11/24).

According to him, RPTRA administrators will continue to monitor RPTRA visitors' compliance to health protocols.

"They must wear mask, wash hands with soap and running water, and maintain distance or avoid the crowd," he asserted.

Since number of RPTRA visitors is limited, he assessed, people who visit RPTRA has decreased significantly compared to normal times before the pandemic.

"Before COVID-19 pandemic occurred, visitors can reach 100 people a day. However, after it was opened in transitional PSBB period, RPTRA is visited by around 10 adults a day for exercise," he conveyed.
