JEDI Project Document Finally Signed

Head of Jakarta Public Works Department (PU) finally signed the Jakarta Emergency Dredging Initiative (JEDI). With that condition, the dredge of Kali Cideng which is one of the projects inside JEDI could be run.

Finally Mr Siahaan wants to sign the document

Jakarta Provincial Secretary (Sekda) Saefullah said, the document fee collection of JEDI project has been signed by the budget user or Head of Jakarta Public Works Department based on the Finance Ministry (Kemenkeu) regulation.

"Finally Mr Siahaan wants to sign the document," said Saefullah, met after the Sumpah Pemuda (Youth Pledge) ceremony at Field of ex IRTI Monas, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/28).

Head of Public Works Dept Threatened to Be Demoted

Saefullah added, after given the explanation about the rule of project JEDI fund disbursement from Kemenkeu, Head of Jakarta Pubic Works Department, Rudy Manggas Siahaan finally signed the project.

JEDI Project worked by Jakarta Provincial is the third stage at Kali Cideng Thamrin as 3,330 meter square in length with dredge of 31,420 square meter and plastering as long as 2,570 square meter.

As reported before, at beginning Mr Siahaan rejected to sign the project with the reason that he has delegated the signed document to the department head as the power budget users (KPA).

Finally, Saefullah planned to find a new official to replace Rudy to sign the document. Moreover, according to Saefullah, the mark up potency at the project is zero percent, so Rudy should sign the project.
