312 Points of Roads in North Jakarta Repaired

North Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department plans to repair 312 points on roads and bridges this year. The project will include roads patching and asphalting in 271 points, roads reinforce with concrete using threaded base asphalt in 41 points, roads heightening, sidewalks construction, and total repair of a bridge. The project with budget as much as Rp 160 billion is targeted to finish before upcoming December.

Among the road points to be repaired are Jalan Dukuh, Jalan Cemara and Jalan Walang Baru (Koja Sub-District), Jalan Cilincing Bakti Raya and Jalan Malaka Baru (Cilincing Sub-District), Jalan Kelapa Cengkir Raya and Jalan Gading Raya IV (Kelapa Gading Sub-District), Jalan Pluit Dalam, Jalan Ekor Kuning and Jalan Pluit Timur Raya (Penjaringan Sub-District), Jalan Kedondong Raya, Jalan Sungai Bambu Raya and Jalan Kembang Sereh (Tanjung Priok Sub-District), as well as Jalan Pademangan I Gang 16, Jalan Pademangan IV and Jalan Ancol III (Pademangan Sub-District).
As for the roads to be heightened, they are Jalan Kamal Muara VII and IV, Jalan Sungai Bambu 1 and 3, Jalan Metros Semper Barat, Jalan Kramat Jaya, Jalan Semper Asem, and Jalan Buntek (Penjaringan Sub-District). These roads will be reinforced with concrete with height varies around 20-25 centimeters each.
Sunday, Pay Attention to These Traffic DiversionsLastly, the bridge to be totally repaired is the Danau Sunter Utara C Bridge which located on Jalan Danau Sunter Utara (Tanjung Priok Sub-District). The bridge with eight meters long and seven meters wide is now being demolished and will be rebuild with budget about Rp 1.8 billion.
“We are currently repairing 271 points of potholes, heightening 41 roads, building sidewalks, and repairing bridge. We’re targeting all works to finish before the peak of rainy season comes in mid December. Some of the works have finished, and we’ll accelerate the rest,” stated Head of North Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department, Monang Rintonga, Sunday (10/26).
