Jakarta Government assisted Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in obtaining cheap raw materials by giving discounts.

These commodities are not only cheaper, but its quality is also guaranteed

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency's Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Division Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated, MSMEs which participated as Jakpreneurs can get discounted materials by visiting designated Pasar Jaya outlet and verifying their single identity number (NIK).

"After it is verified, MSMEs will get discount on raw materials," she conveyed, Friday (11/27).

Meanwhile, MSMEs non-Jakpreneur who want to get discounted prices can come to Pasar Jaya outlets and ask the officer to register themselves as Jakpreneur. Their NIK will be verified and they will be Jakpreneur members.

"They can get discounts only if it's verified," she added.

Discounts applied for rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour, UHT milk, canned sardines, canned corned beef, bottled drinking water, onions, chilies, beef and chicken meat.

"These commodities are not only cheaper, but its quality is also guaranteed," she said.

According to her, MSMEs can make transaction and get discounted prices in certain locations, namely Jak Grosir or Mini DC throughout Jakarta.

"This policy is also carried out to attract Jakarta MSMEs to join Jakpreneur and get benefits from entrepreneurial capacity development," she mentioned.
