Until This October, PPKUKM Agency Coaches 168,000 Jakpreneurs

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency has recorded 67,037 coached MSMEs or Jakpreneurs until this October 2020.

But with this achievement, it is expected to reach 200,000 Jakpreneurs by the end of December 2020

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency's Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Division Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated, from predetermined target of 54,260 Jakpreneurs, this number exceeded it by 123.55 percent. Thus, from 2019 until October 2020, it reached 168,000 Jakpreneurs in total.

"We set a higher target than RPJMD's target and we can still exceed it. Initially, target of 200,000 Jakpreneurs should be reached until 2022. But with this achievement, it is expected to reach 200,000 Jakpreneurs by the end of December 2020," she asserted, Monday (10/26).

Culinary Jakpreneurs Facilitated to Develop Healthy Food Products

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, she explained, was implemented various strategies to achieve targets in every Jakpreneur's stages, from registration until access to capital.

Moreover, her side also optimized Jakpreneur's mentors (PJLP) to continue to innovate and be creative and held various interesting activities that encouraged people to be Jakpreneurs.

According to her, PJLP as a mentor should convince the community about benefits of becoming Jakpreneur. Besides, Jakarta Government also facilitated Jakpreneurs, from training, mentoring, licensing, marketing, and giving access to capital.

"Mentor can look for entrepreneurial cadres who have same competence and want to share their knowledge voluntarily to the other entrepreneurs. Jakpreneur is the center of scientific duplication, understanding, and knowledge," she said.

Although the P1 target is relatively good, she assessed, Jakpreneur's mentors still have to work hard to pursue the target thus it can be optimal.

Jakpreneur's mentors are also responsible for monitoring and validating every P2 activities in system intensively thus Jakpreneurs can get access to offline and online training.

"By inviting through WA Blast and list Jakpreneurs who are present and validate participants who have applied financial reporting. It is done to achieve optimal target," she added.

Concerning access to capital (P7), PPKUKM Agency coordinates with Bank DKI as data holder of Jakpreneurs who have accessed both regular capital loans or loans from Bank DKI with PEN funds.  

"Recently, about 700 Jakpreneurs have accessed capital thus 100 percent of target can be achieved," she mentioned.
