Bojong Reservoir Dredging Targeted to Finish By the End of This Month

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency accelerates mud dredging work in Bojong Reservoir on Jalana Telaga Bojong, Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

We carry out the work from November 17 and target it to finish by the end of December

"We carry out the work from November 17 and target it to finish by the end of December," conveyed Wawan Kurniawan,  SDA Sub-agency's Flood Control Maintenance System for Clean Water and Wastewater Section Head, on Tuesday (12/1).

His side deployed 2 heavy equipment with amphibious and long excavator type and 8 dump trucks to dredge mud from reservoir with depth of 3 meters and 1.6 hectares wide.

"We dredge the mud thus reservoir can drain water optimally to anticipate inundation in the surrounding area," he mentioned.
