PPAPP Agency Campaigns Against Violence of Women and Children via Tiktok

Jakarta Child Protection and Empowerment and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency holds a Tiktok Competition to celebrate the 16-day anti-violence against women and children campaign.

Tiktok is booming nowadays, but it's not just dancing, but there are positive messages conveyed through this media

Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head Tuty Kusumawati said, the video created referred to the campaign theme, 'Do not be afraid to talk, protect women and children' with the tagline Stop Violence of Women and Children, Do Not Be Silent to Report Immediately, and Jakarta Without Violence.

She explained it was an opportunity to invite people to express their creativity in educating and campaigning against violence against women and children.

"The video shown has an educational message campaigning against violence against women and children. Tiktok is booming nowadays, but it's not just dancing, but there are positive messages conveyed through this media," she told, Thursday (12/3).

This competition is open to the public for people who live in Jakarta. There are three categories of participants, namely, children, students, and the public. Registration for participants is opened on November 25 to December 4.

As for the information, one Tiktok account can only register for one category. Participants are also required to follow and include their Tiktok and Instagram @dppappdki accounts.

The work is uploaded to the participants' Tiktok account with the hashtag #StopKekerasanPerempuandanAnak #JanganDiamSegeraLaporkan #JakartaTanpaKekerasan.

The winners will be announced at the peak of the 16-days anti-violence against women and children campaign on December 10, which will be broadcast live on Youtube and Facebook belongs to the PPAPP Agency.

"The registration is also adjusted to the category. If the message is the same, namely the prevention of violence against women and children," she said.
