For those of you who want to duplicate birth certificates because they are lost or damaged, the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency provides several conveniences.

Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Head Dhany Sukma stated, residents should meet several requirements before duplicating birth certificates. That was photocopy of Jakarta ID card and family card, letter of loss from the police, photocopy of lost deed, and letters of request for renewal reasons.

"As well as a power of attorney with a stamp of Rp 6,000 if represented, and a photocopy of the ID Card that is given the power of attorney. So if the deed has a problem such as being damaged or lost, we can duplicate it by fulfilling those requirements," he said, Friday (12/4).

He explained, please come to the Dukcapil Agency Office on Jalan Letjen S Parman No. 7, West Jakarta. However, if the renewal above 2013, it could be done at the Dukcapil Sub-agency Office in each area.

Once at the agency office, the applicant could pick up the queue number at the service counter, and submit the required documents.
