PSBB Violation, South Jakarta Satpol PP Imposes Sanctions to 58 Restaurants and Cafes

From October 12 to December 12, South Jakarta Satpol PP imposed sanctions to 58 restaurants/cafes that violated health protocols in the region.

From total 1,884 restaurants and cafes that we monitored, 58 were given sanction due to violating transitional PSBB regulations

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Hermawan mentioned, his side monitored total 1,884 cafes and restaurants within the period. According to him, 58 of them violated PSBB regulations.

"From total 1,884 restaurants and cafes that we monitored, 58 were given sanction due to violating transitional PSBB regulations. While we didn't find any violation on the remaining 1,826 restaurants/cafes," he informed, Monday (12/14).

1,501 PSBB Violators in East Jakarta Netted

According to him, his side instructed 57 restaurants/cafes to close temporarily for 1x24 hours and the other one paid administrative fine with nominal Rp 20,000,000.

Not only restaurants and cafes, but his side also imposed sanction to 1 office and 1 industry to close for 3x24 hours due to transitional PSBB violation.

Meanwhile, in Mask Operation during transitional PSBB period, his side has disciplined 9,949 violators.

"283 violators choose to pay administrative fine with total Rp 46,750,000. While 9,666 violators choose social sanction," he closed.
