KPKP and Agriculture Ministry Hold Online Cheap Food Bazaar

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency collaborates with Agriculture Ministry (Kementan)'s Food Security Agency (BKP) to hold Online Cheap Food Bazaar.

Thus the products are sold via GoFood and GoShop

Jakarta KPKP Agency Acting Head (Plt), Suharini Eliawati conveyed, now people can buy staple foods with good quality but at a lower price.

Food bazaar was held at Mitra Tani Market / Toko Tani Indonesia Center (TTIC) Klender which managed by Jakarta Government and Pasar Minggu TTIC under Agriculture Ministry's BKP. But people can order via online.

"Regarding Jakarta TTIC, BKP has built collaboration with Gojek. Thus the products are sold via GoFood and GoShop," she explained, Wednesday (12/16).

People can also use other application, such as Pas Tani, to shop at TTIC. This marketplace was created and managed by Agriculture Ministry's BKP.

"Pas Tani app just launched yesterday and it can be downloaded on Play Store," she added.

Online Cheap Food Bazaar was held to make it easier for people to get good quality food commodities at below market price.

"Besides, it facilitates people to shop comfortably from home, without having to leave the house," she mentioned.

Here are the list of prices for food commodities sold at Online Cheap Food Bazaar:

- Frozen Chicken Meat Rp 30,000/kg

- Frozen Beef Rp 70,000 - 80,000/kg

- Rice Rp 44,000/5 kg

- Red Cayenne Pepper Rp 40,000/kg

- Curly Red Chili Rp 45,000/kg

- Shallot Rp 27,000/kg

- Sugar Rp 12,000/kg

- Cooking Oil Rp 11,000/pack

- Egg Rp 23,000/kg or Rp 43,000 for 1.8 kg.
