City Operates Four AKAP Bus Terminals for This Year's Nataru Holidays

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) operates four intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) bus terminals during Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 (Nataru) Transport Operation.

This year is different. Holiday period or year-end joint leave is reduced based on the latest three ministerial decree due to COVID-19 pandemic situation

Dishub's Road Transport Terminal Management Unit Administration Sub-division Acting Head, Krishnanda Pasha mentioned, unlike the previous year, this year his side didn't provide additional terminal during Nataru holidays.

"This year is different. Holiday period or year-end joint leave is reduced based on the latest three ministerial decree due to COVID-19 pandemic situation. We also see trend of AKAP bus passengers during the pandemic, especially in transitional PSBB period is slightly increased but slowly," he explained, Friday (12/18).

Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Gets Healthy Terminal Predicate

Those four terminals which operate namely, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Kalideres Terminal, and Tanjung Priok Terminal managed that are under management of Road Transportation Terminal Management Unit (UP TAJ) and Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal which is under Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit (UP TTPG).

He estimated the peak of homecoming flow is between December 23-24, 2020, while the peak of returning flow is on January 3, 2021. Christmas and New Year Traffic Flow Monitoring will be carried out from December 18 to January 4, 2021.

Those terminals are also equipped with special room to check passengers' health. While Health Sub-agency  and local health center (Puskesmas) will help to provide health personnel on the location.

"We remind people to travel only for important matters, if you have to travel out of town, you must be in good health and comply with health protocols or implement 3M," he asserted.
