As many as 26 infiltration wells are being built in Munjul Urban Village area, Cipayung, East Jakarta in order to anticipate inundation in the rainy season.
Munjul Urban Village Head Sumarjono said, it had been carried out since October. Thus far his side had completed 15 wells and the rest were under construction.

He explained, those 26 wells were built in urban village offices areas (five units), Tsanawiyah public school area (30 units), urban village head official house (one unit), SDN Munjul 01 area (eight units), urban village puskesmas (five units) and the rest were scattered on the edge of Jalan Raya Munjul.
"They are built manually with an average depth of 3 meters and a diameter of 1.2 meters," he stated.
