Water Channels Normalization in Duri Kepa Completed

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed normalization of the water channels on Jalan Patra and Mangga I, Duri Kepa, Kebon Jeruk.

Development and Improvement of Drainage Division Head Imam Prasetyo said, channel normalization on Jalan Patra was carried out along 325 meters with 150 centimeters width and 150 centimeters depth. As for the Jalan Mangga, the channel was normalized up to 145 meters length and 80 centimeters depth.

"It is started on October 22 and is finished on December 10," he expressed, Monday (12/28).

By doing so, the channel was expected to maximally accommodate water and to smoothen water flow into the artificial pond to be immediately streamed to the Sekretaris River.

"Surely we do this work to handle flooding on such roads when it rains," he stated.
