Channels in 2 RWs of Tidung Island Urban Village Normalized

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency normalized channels at RW 01 and RW 02, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf conveyed, channel normalization was carried out by cleaning the channel from mud sedimentation and garbage.

"We collect 6 sacks of mud sedimentation and garbage form the channels," he explained, Wednesday (11/18).

Channels Normalization on Jalan Patra and Mangga I Reaches 55 Percent

His side deployed 15 personnel from Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency to clean the channels.

"After normalizing the channels, we hope it can be optimal in function. Thus inundation and flood occurrence can be minimized," he mentioned.
