Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency increases preparedness to anticipate the potential for flooding by ensuring all personnel and supporting facilities to be in prime condition.

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Asril Rizal conveyed, his side has also prepared rubber boats that will be used to evacuate flood victims.

"We prepare mobile pumps with capacity 1,000 liters per minute," he added, Wednesday (11/25).

In order to optimize preparation in flood mitigation, in the near future his side will hold simulation with residents who are the members of Disaster Alert Village (KSB).

"We will provide training materials such as flood victims evacuation simulation and how to use rubber boats, tires, and buoys," he explained.
