Pulogadung UP PKB Has Served 75,354 Vehicles through Kir Test

The Pulogadung Motor Vehicle Test Management Unit (UP PKB), East Jakarta has noted that at least 75,354 vehicles have been passed through vehicle roadworthy tests (kir) along January until December 29.

Kir test is held every Monday until Saturday

Pulogadung UP PKB Administration Division Head Fatchuri disclosed, the kir test itself divided into five types of vehicles, ranging from bus, goods car, special car and public transport. From 75.354 vehicles, 68,393 passed the test and 6,961 others failed.

"Kir test is held every Monday until Saturday. There are four mechanical test lanes that we have prepared," he said, Wednesday (12/30).

To smoothen the test, he involved 40 mechanics equipped with advance equipment. Moreover, the registration system for the test was already being done online.

By so, he explained, the vehicle owners first had to download the e-Kir Jakarta-Booking via google play store, then register. Further, make a booking for scheduling vehicle registration testing in a bid to obtain a regional levy deposit (SSRD) number for deposits to Bank DKI.

"Bank DKI only serves as a means of depositing money and then goes to the regional treasury," he explained.

After the money was paid, the applicant would get the regional revenue transaction number (NTPD) as poof that the money had entered the treasury.

Despite it was online, he admitted, there were still some coming to his office for registering the kir test.

"We continue to hold socialisation how to book online to vehicle owners," he said.
