Crossing Channel Construction on Jalan Latumenten Completed

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) has completed crossing channel construction on Jalan Latumenten, Grogol Petamburan.

The work has been carried out since October 13 and completed on December 11

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Construction and Drainage Development Section Head, Imam Prasetyo explained, crossing channel was constructed along 31 meters with width and height 2 meters to overcome inundation that often occurred on Jalan Satria IV.

"The work has been carried out since October 13 and completed on December 11. For now, cars can cross this channel," he said, Wednesday (12/30).

Crossing Channel Under Kebon Jeruk Toll Road has Been Dredged

This crossing channel was constructed because the size of previous channel was too small, thus it made wider thus water that often inundated Jl. Satria IV can flow to the crossing channel that leads to stilling basin beside Grogol River.

"Water in stilling basin will be drained by water pump and disposed to Grogol River," he closed.
