SDA Continues Stilling Basins Construction Work on Jl. Boulevard Raya

Stilling basins construction on Jalan Boulevard Raya, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta is accelerated thus it can finish in March 2021.

Current progress has reached about 50 percent

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit Head, Citrin Indriyanti mentioned, there are total 11 stilling basins that will be built in the location. The construction has been carried out since mid October 2020.

"Current progress has reached about 50 percent. We will continue the work in this early year," she added, Saturday (1/2).

Crossing Channel Construction on Jalan Latumenten Completed

According to her, there was a delay in building stilling basins because her side needed to prioritize flood anticipation work in several other locations. Thus the field officers were assigned into several locations at the same time.

Each stilling basin has average length 15 meters with width 3 meters and depth 1.3 meters. So far, five stilling basins have been completed.

"Our target is to finish it as soon as possible, which expected in March," she conveyed.
