Kir Test Service at Ujung Menteng UP PKB Returns to Normal

After being transferred to Pulogadung, Kedaung Angke and Cilincing motor vehicle tests (UP PKB), now the vehicle testing service (KIR) at the Ujung Menteng PKB, Cakung, East Jakarta has returned to normal.

The first day after Christmas and New Year holidays, we successfully serve 815 units

Ujung Menteng PKB Technical Unit Executing Unit Head Suratman said, the KIR service was back to normal this Monday and open as usual from 7:30 AM to 12 PM.

As for the completion of motorized vehicle testing could finish at 5 PM, as there were 815 vehicles that undergo the first KIR test in early 2021 and had to be completed.

Pulogadung UP PKB Has Served 75,354 Vehicles through Kir Test

"The first day after Christmas and New Year holidays, we successfully serve 815 units. But, on regular days, we usually serve 500 vehicles," he said, Monday (1/4).

According to him, the increase in the number of vehicles tested was also due to an additional quota of 30 vehicles that repeated the test as they failed the test on the previous day.

Every day, a quota of 30 vehicles that failed the test was prepared to rebook for free, but the owner should undergo the test first. If they failed again, they should pay the administration again for the nex booking.

"To avoid long queue, we are applying traffic engineering for queuing vehicles," he stated.
