Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Acting Head, Mujiati stated, her side held unannounced inspections to 12 traditional markets in the region to ensure no market traders who sell chilies contain of coloring agent.
"We routinely conduct inspections to number of traditional markets. So far, our personnel haven't found chilies with coloring agent," she stated when conducted food inspection at Gondangdia Market, Tuesday (1/5).

"We don't carry out lab test. But our personnel see the commodities first-hand, especially for red chili peppers which sold by traders," she explained.
She emphasized that her party through KPKP Units at sub-district levels will continue to do food monitoring to ensure the safety of food commodities traded in 12 traditional markets.
"Alhamdulilah, so far we haven't found food commodities with coloring agents and preservatives at the markets," she said.
