Five trees are pruned today
Joint personnel of Kedoya Utara Urban Village PPSU and West Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency, pruned trees that were prone to fall alongside Jalan Taman Ratu, Block DD6, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, on Friday (1/8).
Kedoya Utara Urban Village Head Tubagus Masarul Iman said that it was done to anticipate fallen tree during the rainy season.
26,106 Trees in South Jakarta Have Been Pruned During January-December"Five trees are pruned today," he said.
He explained that the types of trees pruned were banyan, palm, and ketapang, with 30 centimeters diameter and 12 meters height.
"To prune them, we send eight personnel of PPSU, six from Forestry Sub-agency and four from Transportation Sub-agency to manage the traffic at the location," he closed.
