Market operating hours is still restricted but not simultaneously

Perumda Pasar Jaya continues to support the policy of the Jakarta Provincial Government in implementing the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) from January 11-25.

Perumda Pasar Jaya's General Affairs and Public Relations Division Manager Gatra Vaganza expressed, the operational policies of all markets were not much different from the previous PSBB in the capital.

"Market operating hours is still restricted but not simultaneously. For instance, conventional markets such as Tanah Abang Market operate from 9 AM to 5 PM. As for the conventional vegetable market operates from 4 AM to 10 AM," he expressed, Tuesday (1/12).

Then for Kramat Jati Market would continue to operate as usual to distribute vegetable and fruit stocks in Jakarta.

Nevertheless, his party was also intensively conducting monitoring and evaluation to anticipate hoarding and crowding in the market.

"We also prepare portable sinks in every market," he told.

Until now, he added, there were 153 markets managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya. Of that number, seven were not operating and 146 of them were still operating.
