Traditional bamboo slit drum or locally known as Kentongan, is used by residents in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district as an instrument to warn or give early warning of disaster.
Its installation is done symbolically at RW 02
Kelapa Island Urban Village Government Section Head, Muslim conveyed, all RW and RT heads houses were equipped with kentongan.
