Pisangan Timur Residents Have Received Cash Social Assistance

The fourth day of distribution is running smoothly

As many as 2,000 out of 9,400 residents of Pisangan Timur, Pulogadung, East Jakarta have received the cash social assistance (BST) from the Jakarta administration.

Pisangan Timur Urban Village Head Muhammad Iqbal said the BST distribution was executed at SDN Pisangan Timur 11, SDN Pisangan Timur 13 and SMPN 44. It had been ongoing since Friday (1/22) and would end on Wednesday (1/27) or Thursday (1/28).

"The fourth day of distribution is running smoothly. Certainly we remain implement the strict health protocol in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19," he told.

Of the 9,400 recipients, he told, 7,600 of them had received the assistance and would be continued to 1,800 others on Wednesday or Thursday.

To smoothen it, he involved around 36 joint personnel of Satpol PP, Urban Village ASN, PPSU, Bimaspol/Babinsa, FKDM to karang taruna.

"They also check the body temperature of people who enter at the main gate and direct them to wash their hands," he stated.
