BST Distributed to 4,438 Batu Ampar Residents Today

This Monday (1/25), 4,438 residents in Batu Ampar Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district, East Jakarta, received Social Cash Assistance (BST) from Jakarta Government. BST was distributed in 10 schools, namely SDN Batu Ampar 01, 06, 08,09, 10, 11, 12, 13, SMAN 51 and SMPN 126.

There are 9,438 BST recipients in total

Batu Ampar Urban Village Head, Achmad Ruslan mentioned, there were total 9,438 residents who were registered as BST recipients. BST distribution was divided into two batches to avoid crowd. On the first batch, it has been carried out on last Saturday (1/23) to 5,000 recipients.

"There are 9,438 BST recipients in total. Because of many recipients in the region, distribution is carried out in two batches. First was on last Saturday with 5,000 recipients and today with 4,438 recipients," he explained.

1,484 Ciracas Residents Receive BST Today

His side continues to implement strict health protocols in BST distribution process. Before entering the location, recipients should have their body temperature checked, wash their hands, and wear masks. In indoor area, they must maintain safe distance with the others.

For distributing BST, his side deployed 158 joint personnel from urban village apparatuses, Satpol PP, Babinsa, Bimaspol, LMK, FKDM, Pokdar Kamtibmas, PPSU, PKK cadres, and school administrators.

"We also prepare a counter to serve residents who don't obtain BST. They can report to us by bringing copies of their ID cards (KTP) and family cards (KK) thus we can submit it to Social Sub-agency to get BST in the next phase," he informed.

SDN Batu Ampar 13 Headmaster, Bunari mentioned, his side sprayed all rooms in school with disinfectant for three times before the activity was held.

"All rooms used for BST distribution have been sprayed with disinfectant. It is one of our efforts to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
