City-owned bus operator PT Transjakarta has officially launched a new mikrotrans route from Tanjung Priok - Ancol Barat (JAK-88) starting today, Thursday (1/28). During the PSBB period, it would operate at 5 AM to 9 PM.

Transjakarta's New Route Serves Manggarai Station - TosariHe explained, thus far, there had been 16 fleets operated and had met the health protocol such as equipped with a hand sanitizer, a safety distance sign with a maximum number of passengers of 50 percent of normal capacity, and a Tap on Bus (ToB) machine.
"JAK-88 is the 72nd Mikrotrans route that has been operated. It is still not paid yet, but to enjoy the service, commuters are still required to tap in and tap out using an electronic card" he explained.
In future, he added, Transjakarta would continue to expand the coverage and reach of services, in a bid to serve more mobility for the community.
"Until 2020, our coverage is recorded to have reached 86 percent. We target to hit 93 in this year," he stated.
