Central Jakarta has started implementing an integrated stunting reduction intervention in 2021. This activity was opened by Acting Mayor, Irwandi via online, on Thursday (1/28).

Stunting Prevention in Thousand Islands Keeps Being SocializedThere are 10 areas with stunting cases in Central Jakarta, where 6 areas in Tanah Abang, except for Kebon Kacang Urban Village. The others are located in Sawah Besar and Johar Baru Sub-districts.
"It becomes Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for urban village and sub-district heads. While other urban villages and sub-districts without stunting cases are expected to maintain it," he mentioned.
Central Jakarta Administration for Planning and Development of City Administration Head, Tulus Ludyo Setiawan explained, assessment for integrated stunting reduction intervention in 8 sub-districts will take place in July.
Thus, he hopes related apparatuses can handle stunting cases in their regions.
"Stunting is not only Health Agency's responsibility, but it must be tackled together with regional organizations and residents," he asserted.
